YOUR INFORMATION PACK
TREE CHILDREN ADVENTURES IN ITALY
A unique, tailored, nature-connecting break for children.
We are excited about your upcoming visit to our home in Italy and looking forward to enjoying nature adventures together.
ARRIVAL AND TRANSPORTATION
Pescara airport is very small - however there are usually two separate passport checks upon arrival. Be prepared to wait approximately 15 minutes.
We will be awaiting you in the arrival zone of the airport so you can't miss us!
I drive an English Volkswagen transporter and have a child seat for every child.
Our home is only 35 minutes away from the airport but I will make sure to bring water and simple snacks for kids to help with the last part of the journey.

Join us in our beautiful home in Abruzzo countryside, Italy and immerse yourself in joy, sun, stars, views, simplicity, a slower life, peace, and stunning natural beauty.

LOCATION AND ACCOMODATION
The address of our home is Via Colle Del Vento 15, Alanno, 65020, Italy. We are based on top of a hill with a 360 degree view.
We only have three lovely neighbours who are all quite a distance from our house, which gives us the privilege of a great privacy.
Our house has three bedrooms, an entry hall, veranda, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, dining room, and a large living room with a fireplace. The utility room is located in the basement.
You can see some pictures of the house here.
Each room sleeps two people, and one travel cot can be provided from the 15th of April.
Double beds can be moved to the wall to provide child protection if you co-sleep.
Rooms will have allocated storage space in the wardrobes.
Towels and cosmetics such hand wash, shower gel, hair shampoo and tooth paste will be provided.
Our house is surrounded by our garden and fields.
We have a trampoline and a mini sand pit in the garden. Our land is not fenced as we want to be part of nature and see it from everywhere.
There is a working area in the garden where we collect used building material. This space will be fenced for safety.

WHAT TO BRING
Please check the forecast before you arrive and pack according to the weather.
We will spend most of the time in nature and outdoors so it is important to be dressed comfortably and practically.
Sammy is always dirty. Please bring clothes that are ok to stain by sitting on grass, touching animals, playing with earth or colouring.
We can run the washing machine every other day.
I have boys' clothes for 2-4 year olds that can be borrowed.
I offer photo shooting in the nature so perhaps bring clothes for that occasion if you are interested.
The price is EUR 38 for an hour of photo shooting.
The sea will be cold - however if you do swim in cold waters please bring a swimming costume.
If you wish to play in the snow please bring appropriate footwear.
We will walk distances that are suitable for children but we do have a scooter, a push bike and a buggy available.

Tree Children Adventures is not only for children.
Parents are invited to engage in various invitations that create wonderful opportunities to strengthen the bond and connection between parent, child and nature.
HELLO FROM
KATARINA, SAMMY & MISCHA
In 2024 I was running wonderful Forest Bathing and Tree Children sessions in Kent, England.
I love connecting children and adults to nature and guide them to slow down and enjoy the simplicity, magic and beauty of the natural world.
As a mum, Forest Bathing guide and Mental Health First Aide, I connect daily to nature and continuously guide my son to do the same.
Sammy will be three in June and understands Slovak, English and a little bit of Italian. He loves tractors and cars. He has a lunchtime nap and I am still breastfeeding him. He is a very active and busy boy and has become better at sharing toys. He likes to play with other kids and learn from them.
We have a twelve year old female greyhound called Mischa who is super chilled and gentle with kids. She sleeps most of the time and sometimes I even forget she is in the house!
My husband is English and is expert in DIY jobs. He is currently visiting UK.
I had a vision of living a simple life close to nature, and our Italian home made my dream come true.
I am grateful for the opportunity to share it with you.
