Service Description
This Japanese practice is a gentle process of mindful relaxation; known in Japan as Shinrin Yoku. The simple method of being calm and quiet amongst the trees, observing nature around you whilst breathing deeply can help both adults and children de-stress and boost health and wellbeing in a natural way. You will slow down, strengthen your connection with the natural world, restore your sense of beauty, wonder, awe and curiosity. You will calm your brain and nervous system and lower stress levels to boost your immune system. Paraker Wood is an ancient woodland set back from the seafront in the Seabrook Valley near Folkestone and it benefits from colourful displays of wildflowers in spring.
