Service Description

This Japanese practice is a process of relaxation; known in Japan as Shinrin Yoku. The simple method of being calm and quiet amongst the trees, observing nature around you whilst breathing deeply can help both adults and children de-stress and boost health and wellbeing in a natural way. An ancient woodland set back from the seafront in the Seabrook Valley near Folkestone, Paraker Wood benefits from colourful displays of wildflowers in spring. This wood is an excellent spot for birdlife, nightingales can sometimes be heard in the woods on summer evenings, while green woodpeckers, nuthatches and warblers are more common visitors. You will strengthen your connection with the natural world, restore your sense of beauty, wonder, awe and curiosity. You will calm your brain and nervous system and lower stress levels to boost your immune system.
